QOTD: What Do J.D. Power Lists Mean to You?

Yesterday was J.D. Power IQS day.

As we reported, Ram did well, as did Porsche. In general, J.D. Power’s IQS list is considered respectable and influential in the industry — even with recent debate over whether customer confusion over poor infotainment UX really should count as part of a “quality” index.

As you no doubt know, automakers love to tout their J.D. Power rankings in ads when they do well.

So, with that in mind, do you use J.D. Power as one of the ways you try to measure reliability when you’re car shopping?
