After several months of spy shots and looking at the updated Tesla Model 3 in European markets, the car is finally available in North America. Tesla added the car to its online configurator without much fanfare, but there are plenty of changes to the automaker’s popular sedan.

The new Model 3 is available in the base Rear-Wheel Drive and Long Range AWD models, but there’s no option for the Performance at the moment. Tesla offers two new colors, including gray and red, and the car features a lower, sleeker front end for better aerodynamics. Other upgrades include revised suspension tuning, upgraded interior materials, and better acoustic glass for a quieter cabin.

Pricing for the cars remains the same as last year, but the range for the Long Range model is up to 341 miles, eight better than the previous car. The entry-level rear-drive model’s range stayed flat at 272 miles.

The updated interior features a 15.4-inch display in the front that handles all vehicle controls and functions, and back-seat passengers get an 8-inch touchscreen for climate and entertainment controls. Many connected features require Tesla’s Premium Connectivity package, which brings live traffic info, satellite maps, streaming music and video, a karaoke feature, and internet browsing.

Tesla quotes a delivery time in January or February, so there’s no extreme wait for a new Model 3. That said, there’s no mention of tax credits for the car, though buyers can still get a credit by leasing.
