Beyond being one of my absolute dream cars, the Audi RS 6 Avant is just a very impressive car. It’s getting even more impressive in 2025 with the super-limited RS 6 Avant GT, a unique special edition with a throwback livery and handcrafted details. The automaker hasn’t detailed North American pricing yet, but the car starts at $235,777 (219,355 Euro) on the Old Continent.
Audi will make just 660 units of the car, 85 of which are destined for sale in the United States. It gets a white paint job with red, grey, and black graphics and white 22-inch wheels. The GT looks similar to the RS 6 GTO concept car from 2020, which was drawn after the 1989 Audi 90 Quattro IMSA GTO race car.
The car retains its twin-turbocharged V8, making 621 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque. Audi equips exclusive lightweight adjustable coilovers and a revised sport differential for better handling and performance in corners. It splits torque 40:60 front to rear in most situations but can shift up to 85 percent to the rear axle when needed. The RS 6 GT makes extensive use of carbon fiber, with the hood, fenders, wheels, and more composed of the super-strong lightweight material.
Inside, “RS 6 GT” stitching adorns the floor mats and seats, and the partial suede upholstery features honeycomb stitching and red accents. Most interior surfaces are finished in the suede material, including the doors, center console, armrests, and dash. There’s also a numbered plate with the car’s position in the 660-unit production run.
