Automakers love putting out teasers, using us media dopes to build anticipation.
And we oblige, because it’s our job to relay information to you.
Here we have a tweet with four pictures of the next Dodge Charger, a winking allusion to how cell-phone cameras are banned at automaker proving grounds, and a blurb saying we’re seeing the pre-production model of a car going on sale late this year.
There’s not much new here, beyond a clearer look at the car, which seems to hew pretty closely to the concept.
So there’s no confirmation of powertrains, but at least we get to see more than we usually do with teasers.
