This 1983 Volkswagen Rabbit pickup has GTI badging and our interest.
The mileage is unclear — the seller isn’t sure how accurate the odometer is — and we’re betting that the $1,000 price tag is more of a placeholder than the actual ask.
This one has a 1.6-liter diesel, a/c, and a manual transmission. Our seller says it runs and drives well and has little or no rust. There’s a Pioneer head unit.
The engine and suspension have been rebuilt, and there is a long list of factory and aftermarket equipment that I will skip for the sake of brevity.
