I swear it's a coincidence that I am bringing you this 1985 Toyota Supra after bringing you drive notes on a modern Toyota sports coupe.
Yes, true, the Supra today is a different beast than the GR86, so the news peg I am using is thin. But bear with me, because I really like this Supra from the middle of the “greed is good” generation.
Even though it has some flaws.
The seller says it has 95,000 miles and is in generally good shape with the original paint mostly in good condition, though I see some small rust spots in the pics and the front bumper has been repainted. There are scuffs, too, apparently.
The interior seems to be in good shape with the exception of some sun-related fade.
It sounds like the car runs and drives well, but may need gaskets soon, and the A/C works but doesn't hold charge. The radio is aftermarket.
If you're interested in this ride — and I admit, I have a soft spot for these cars — click here. It's located in Colorado and on sale for $8,900.
