Here’s a brain buster for you: Let’s say you woke up tomorrow flush with cash. More than you could possibly ever spend. So you decided to invest of some of it. Knowing EVs are poised to become a larger part of the automotive market, you bet on a startup.
Which one do you choose?
For simplicity’s sake, we’re going to leave Tesla and the legacy automakers out of this one. We’ll focus on Rivian, Lucid, Faraday, Canoe, and others.
Rivian, for example, has an intriguing product in the R1T truck — but it’s facing job losses and Amazon took a bath on an investment in the company.
Lucid stock is weaker, as of this writing, than Rivian, but its Air sedan is poised to take on Tesla.
Meanwhile, Faraday Future is struggling, but comebacks do happen.
What say you? If you could invest in an EV startup, which one would it be?
